Marmalade Game Studio Gives a Free Token to Celebrate the Ticket to Ride: Poland Expansion Launch

Marmalade Game Studio has released Ticket to Ride: Poland Expansion in the digital Ticket to Ride on Steam, iOS, Android, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch today, along with a free token for all Ticket to Ride players – the spectacular Ferris locomotive! 

The expansion has been adapted from its physical board game iteration into a seamless digital experience for the first time, allowing long-time fans and newcomers to enjoy Ticket to Ride: Poland in a new way. 

The Country Cards of the physical version have been reworked as Country Coins, with their overall game mechanic remaining unchanged – when players connect countries, they earn a Country Coin from both connected countries. The value of these coins is then added to their score at the end of the game. 

Along with this additional gameplay element, the expansion contains two new original characters for the series. Players will meet two Polish characters that they can play as on any map they own, extending their customisation choices in the game. 

The expansion also brings two additional trains and two more carriages to the game. The Copernicus locomotive brings an air of historic excellence to the board, while the Polonaise dances along the tracks. The Kujawiak carriage waltzes from A to B, and the Orbiting Greatness carriage delivers important resources across the country. 

Plus, to celebrate the tenth expansion’s release, Marmalade Game Studio is sending a free in-game token to all Ticket to Ride players. The stand-out Ferris locomotive token will be available regardless of whether they own the new expansion yet or not.
